I have a confession, I love Disney Movies from the Loin King to Mulan. I love, I love, I love!!! But, my all time FAVORITE movie is Pocahontas. That movie just touches me every time. Her free spirit and her kind heart glowed throughout the movie. I have to admit, the main reason why I love that movie because I can relate to Pocahontas. I am a free spirited person with a gracious heart. I often just outside and feel and listen to the wind. I really enjoy sitting by the lake under the tree listening to the birds and rippling of the water. Yes, I am a nature girl more so spiritual than anything else. I can just sit on the porch all day just to  listen, feel, and close my eyes to see colors of the wind.  The song that really hits my soul in this movie is “Colors of the Wind.” The song poetically represents a viewpoint that the earth is a living entity where humankind is connected to everything in nature. This song evokes you to the wonders of the earth and nature, including the spirit within all living things, encouraging people not to think of them as things you can conquer or own, but rather as beings to respect and live with in harmony. It also urges you to accept humans who are different in appearance and culture and to learn from them.
